Capstone

The goal of this capstone project is to build a private cloud infrastructure that integrates with Microsoft Active Directory network infrastructure with help desk capabilities.

 

The private cloud environment will be built using Apache Cloudstack and the Microsoft Active Directory will include DNS and Exchange Server 2016 in the network environment. The help desk system will be Spice Works with Exchange Server integration that sends out notification emails regarding to tickets.

Additionally, a Linux Samba file server will be used for backup purposes for all Microsoft Active Directory servers and the Spice Work help desk system server. The network will be secured using pfSense hardware firewall with remote logging integration using Alienvault OSSIM.

 

Overall, this project aims to create a secure and efficient private cloud infrastructure with robust help desk capabilities.
